Hi guys
As from August 3rd I’m taking ‘The Dentex’ to Ramsgate for a couple of weeks or so. The parties that have booked will be taken fishing from there.
The reason for this is just a different fishing venue for the regular guys.
I will still be taking bookings for those couple of weeks but we’ll be fishing from Ramsgate.
We’ll be having a go at the wrecks and a bit of sea bottom fishing; just having a play really.
All the best

‘Big Chris’ and his crew on board today for a 5.00am start. The weather was not looking too bad for us. The wind did pick up a bit and put a nice chop on the sea.
We tried for a few bass to start with but only managed a couple. So, after a couple of hours we moved to a different mark to get stuck into the hounds. We caught loads of hounds today but only three of 10lbs the rest were all small ones but still good fun on light tackle.
It was a lumpy ride home with ‘The Dentex’ taking off a few times in the swell but we got back about 2.00pm.
Cheers guys for a nice day out.
All the best,
Skipper Steve

Adrian and his crew on-board today with a 6.00 am start.
The weather forecast looked OK up until midday when the wind would start to blow.
We started fishing but it was not as good as yesterday with smaller hounds. Only one bass and a few more mackerel on the ebb tide.
We moved a bit closer to home and managed to catch one skate.
A bit of a bumpy ride home but we got the day in.
All the best,

My uncle Jim and his crew from work on-board today with a six o’ clock start.
Weather was good to us today; flat and calm all day.
We managed to get into some hounds falling to both crab and squid bait.
As low water approached us we saw some gulls working the shore line so we had a drift through the feathers and managed a few mackerel and lots of school bass so a good bit of fun.
For the flood tide I decided to anchor over a bit of wreckage but before dropping anchor we drifted it.
Keith had one take but lost his fish so he dropped back down and hooked a nice 6lb bass.
The tide took a long time to come back so we only managed a few more hounds before it was time to steam home.
All the best,
Skipper Steve
