What a cracking day! Lovely sunshine and flat calm seas – what more could you ask for.
Well, what we needed was tide and colour which we didnt get so it made fishing hard.
Still, plenty of fish to keep the anglers busy but mostly whiting. We did manage a couple of codling. One was 5lb that Leon christened with his new rod. Adrian had bought along bacon & sausages which kept me busy cooking most of the day.
All in all, a good day out. Thanks for a great day lads see you next month.
All the best,
Skipper Steve

Well another lovely day out still tide and colour being a problem but we manged a few species today.
On the way out we saw the birds working, so in with feathers and out with the bass which were around the 3lb to 4lb mark. After a few drifts over them they soon moved off and so did we.
Another ebb tide producing whiting/codling/pouts/dogs & dabs the tide soon dropped out. So we decided to have another look back in the river which produced mackeral and more bass but only schoolies.
After a real mixture of fish we called it a day and had a steady run back home.
Looking forward to next week. The tides are increasing so we should see some more of those codling.
Thanks for a great day guys!
All the best,
Skipper Steve

This website is an interactive forum for all those associated with fish and fishing. I want you to participate.
Let’s hear how you caught that big fish. What bait did you use? How much did it weigh?
What did you get up to this summer? Where are you off to this winter?
Let me know how things at Dentex could be improved. What do you love out at sea? What do you dislike the most?
Let’s hear it from you…
All the best,
