Saturday 24th October

Well guys, after looking at this weekends forecast it was touch and go if we were going to get outside.

The winds looking like SE 15mph backing SW20mph.

So I decided to leave at 6.00am so that I could get in all of the ebb tide.

We stuck our noses through Garrison Point and it was flat calm.

We got fishing straight away before it started to blow up. As soon as we anchored we had three cod straight away between 3lb and 8lb. It was a good start.

We started to lose the tide so we upped anchor and moved to deeper water to get a bit more tide.

What a good move, plenty of cod 4lb to 9lb. We managed four cod between 8lb and 9lb so not bad going.

As the tide started to flood the wind picked up and it got a bit snotty so we headed back in.

Plenty of cod and chips tonight lads. See you on the next one.

All the best, Skipper Steve
