Sunday 18th October
Well what a difference a day makes with weather perfect all day.
We left chatham early at 6.30am, steamed out and got ready for the start of the flood tide.
While we waited I got the sausages cooking straight away and a cup off tea going to warm up.
Whitings coming in all the time then the tide started pushing through with plenty of colour in the water.
We managed a few cod up to 7lb and plenty of dogs & whiting to go along with as well.
Once the tide eased back the codling stopped and the dogs took over so it was then time to head back in.
Thanks for a nice day lads nice meeting you all – hopefully see you all soon.
All the best, Skipper Steve
