Having found a boat that is first class and a skipper who knows what he is doing, I cannot recommend Steve and his crew enough. Nothing is too much even when taking non-experienced anglers out. Always helping to bait up, sort out the bird nests and tangles to allow others to carry on fishing.

Steve has always put us on the fish and we have caught some good sizeable fish every trip.

Another one planned this week, so, hopeful again but don't need hope, just rely on Steve and his knowledge, as it never lets you down. Well done, first class boat and skipper.

What a great day it is onboard with Steve. We always used to fish out of Dover. Went once with Dentex, now we are booked once a month with him. Great day out. Great skipper. Love the sausage sarnies. Always finds the fish.

We used Dentex Charters Ltd as a company and the vessel 'Linda Louise' for filming and hired a boat from Steve as a "safety boat" for a McDonalds commercial.

The whole process was simple and straight forward without any complications.

I recommend Steve as film friendly to other location managers out there. He is a reliable individual and his boats are in mint condition with all the correct insurance documents in place.

Highly recommended!

Had too many great trips with Steve to mention here.

Catching fish from a boat is largely down to the quality of the skipper, knowing where and when to go and Steve has delivered when other skippers have failed. Too many times to be a coincidence. Apart from the fishing, the craic is brilliant, always guaranteed! Non stop tea and coffee plus Steve's famous banger's. I have no hesitation in recommending Steve and Dentex. 5*

Ok, Steve, see you over the heath with your giant sausage!

There's only one way I can explain about Steve and his boat, dentex II because I've had too many good days to pick out one. Steve and his boat are top notch in all ways and no other skipper could try harder than Steve does to find the fish for you .

Basically top skipper and boat. You won't be disappointed - give him a call.

At last I've found a angling boat with a caring skipper who will try his utmost to guide you with his knowledge and know how to put you on the fish. I've caught my personal best fish on several fishing trips on Steve's boat the Dentex II in the last 3 years.

He'll make you enough tea or coffee or lucky dip soup to keep you going through the day, also he'll serve you up really tasty sausage sandwiches to fill you up.

Take my word for it you'll be silly not to give Dentex II a go.

I booked Dentex II for the 1st of November in the hope of some early cod. After hearing reports from Skipper Steve that a few cod around the 3lb mark had been landed the week before things were looking good. With the bait ordered and rigs made it was now a unnerving few days watching the weather. As luck would have it the wind dropped right out but brought in a very, I think, early morning fog. After parking the cars Rochester side of the river it was a struggle to see the vessel moored on the opposite side of the river.

My thoughts were now that it was going to be a day on the river but with a confident skipper and the best navigation equipment you can ask for we were on our way down to the fishing grounds in the Thames estuary. It probably took about an hours stomp to the grounds. Steve had promised us a good mixed bag of fish.

Within 15 minutes of dropping the first baits over my father-in-law had hit into something big that tore off down tide before the hook pulled, as I was taking the p**s I noticed my rod now bent double and once again off down tide unable to stop it I knew it was a skate just as it broke the surface it smashed me up! As gutted as I felt it was nice to know it wasn't the big cod we was after.

Now we knew Steve had put us over the fish it was down to us to land them. Over went the big baits. It wasn't long before Jon had the nod on his down tide rod "cod on!" With the fish safely netted by the crewman the fist fish hit the deck. We ended up with 6 cod and 3 rokers on the ebb tide. A good bag of fish so far and we still had the flood to go!

After a quick blast over to the Medway side to fish a well known cod mark, I was feeling confident of some more cod being landed. I wasn't wrong!

In between landing our cod Steve had managed to cook us all sausage rolls and a cuppa, b****y lovely too.

With a very good number of cod being caught by all it was now down to getting the biggest of the day "fiver" fish. Paying out for the best bait was paying off with fresh blacks and unwashed squid we smashed them and at the end of the day we landed 29 cod to 7lb and 6 skate to double figures that where all returned alive. I had 9 cod and yes I also had the "fiver" fish of the day.

Totally enjoyable day had by all, Steve and crewman Ash couldn't do enough for us, thanks lads. Hope to get out with you again soon.
